Emilyn Stam (violin), Tangi Ropars (accordion), and John David Williams (clarinet) present a unique repertoire of the folk music of Brittany, the Celtic region on the West Coast of France. In 2013 they founded the music and social dance collective Balfolk Toronto, creating a niche culture of dancing traditional social dances to live music in bars, cafés, dance halls and parks across the city.
